Head Start

Geminus Head Start is a leader in early childhood education in Northwest Indiana, offering comprehensive programs for expectant mothers, early childhood development, and support for families. Our Prenatal Program provides trained caregivers who assist expecting mothers throughout pregnancy and the early postpartum period, empowering them and their babies for optimal life. Early Head Start focuses on the crucial first three years of a child’s life, emphasizing the importance of parent-child interactions in shaping their development. Head Start is a comprehensive program providing education, health and dental care, nutrition, social services, and parent involvement opportunities to create a positive and nurturing environment that promotes children’s social-emotional and cognitive development.

Financial Assistance

Child Care Development Fund (CCDF)

The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Voucher Program is a federal program designed to help low income families with the cost of childcare.

The applicant must meet the financial guidelines. The voucher assists with the cost of the childcare services while the applicant works, attends school, or participates in an Impact activity. Foster parents are exempt from the financial guidelines.

Teaching and caring for children is a challenging job. Geminus can help with that! Our partnership with providers enables us to contribute the training and assistance they need. We want to help you provide high-quality care for children.

Meal Assistance

Childcare Food Program

Provide meals for everyone in your care with the support of Geminus. We understand that the Child Care Food Program is a critical part of your operation—and we want to make sure it works for you. We’re here to help you be successful and provide nutritious meals to your participants.
