The road to adulthood is challenging. For those in foster care, it can be especially complicated and uncertain. We prepare teens and young adults, who are expected to age out of foster care, with the independent living tools necessary to flourish.

Join us for:
-Foster care resources onsite
-Live workshops

1.5 CEU's available for foster parents in need of continuing education credits.

Older Youth Services is a continuum of care beginning at age 16 with an extension of foster care until 21 years of age—and voluntary services as a safety net from age 21 until age 23. Event is free and open to current, voluntary, and former foster youth in Lake County, IN, upon verification of wardship.

Event Safety

Your health and safety is our top priority. We are taking every precautionary measure as outlined by ISDH and the CDC very seriously.

To keep us all safe and healthy at our in-person events:

  • For drive-thru events, stay in your vehicle at all times.
  • We will monitor social distancing.
  • Face coverings or masks, placed over your nose and mouth, are required.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands. If soap and water are not available, CDC recommends an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • We ask you take all giveaways to enjoy at home.
  • Stay home if you are sick.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.
