Lake County has a limited amount of funds remaining for the program and a large number of applications to process. Unfortunately, no additional funds are projected to be awarded to the county for this specific program.
Applications received before the December 31, 2021 deadline will be processed. The process takes 45 to 90 days. However, we cannot guarantee that funding will be available even if your application is approved.

If you need financial assistance to pay for rent, and you have not submitted an application to the Lake County Emergency Rental Assistance program, you may be eligible to use the State of Indiana’s emergency rental assistance program.
